Because this dialogue has a very common thing about us humans. We confuse attention with approval. When someone is willing to listen to our problems, we naturally consider that person a friend. Agree?

lol. i do agree. I actually always thought about that. It's so funny...some people I consider friends are people who listen to me but sometimes I think to myself "what do i really know about this person", and people who consider me a friend are sometimes people who I listen to, but have no idea about me.

Yes, hehe! I do agree too! On the other hand, sometimes it's hard to hear. When someone starts talking, tongue itches to give some words of wisdom. I think that "to hear" is something really good. Some people just need someone to listen. After talking they feel better. That's why the girl considered the Robochat her best friend. He just listens. =D Right? =D
